Dear Linda,

Many, many thanks for the wonderful training on how to build our Core Case For Support.

Our CEO and operations team have always understood the importance of fundraising but never quite understood the importance of the support material I need them to collect on the ground and how connected it is to our fundraising abilities. Once I read them some of the sample material we put together in your training course it was like a penny dropped. They now go out of their way to collect the material for me and we have since had our first feedback – extremely positive feedback which is invaluable, not just for our fundraising, but also for our monitoring & evaluation and our ability to make our project as effective as possible.

See you at the next training for more nuggets of gold!

Holly Killroy, Videre

The trainer was very knowledgeable and competent in the area of Trusts and Foundations, the delivery was at a perfect pace and much information was gained by participants.

Just been having a look at the small charities week website and I’ve found your balloon!!

Thank you so much, your comments are so nice! Your encouragement and support this last month has lit a fire inside me, and I cant wait to see where this is going to take me over the next few years.

I’m so happy that I found out about you when I did. You have all been so good for me, I just hope that I can get this scholarship now, and prove that I am worthy of it!

Kindest regads,

David

Just wanted to say thanks again for the course this week. You talk a lot about the “step change” in organisations and what I have learned this week is going to bring about a huge step change for Classrooms in the Clouds!

My meeting with Louise at Room to Read last night went really well, and that too is thanks to the things you have taught me over the last month or so. I felt so much more confident talking to her about Visions, mission statements, measurement and evaluation, and impact reporting. Some of these were just vague terms I knew very little about a month or so ago, but knowing about these made a huge difference to the discussion we had.

I am going to be a busy wee boy now, but a happy busy wee boy! You have a knack for inspiring us and giving us loads of confidence and belief, and I can wait to get back for my next course now… I think this will be Successful Events in May, but I have asked Jemina to let me know what others have spaces left, maybe get on some others as well. I guess there is a danger I overload on training without giving myself enough time in between to action the things I am learning about though, I dont want to waste it that way.

Sorry I never wrote all of this in my post-course questionaire, my head was buzzing yesterday when we finished. Jemina, please feel free to steal any quotes from this to include in your course evaluation.

Look forward to seeing you all again soon

Thanks Kim. I know feel sufficiently confident to undertake a mass participation event because of your great training. Of course, ignorance is total bliss and I would have gone ahead without any training and probably come a total cropper? You only know what you don’t know. It’s the unknown known’s have to watch out for?
